It is the Merry Month of May once again and Lucena City is pumped up once again for its much awaited event of the year - The Pasayahan sa Lucena. The city will be celebrating its fiesta on May 30 in honor of its patron - St. Ferdinand the King.
It has always been a tradition in recent memory that the side streets of the City Proper be closed for a Tiangge and Baratillo (Flea Market) Trade Fair and Exhibit. Traders from Lucena City and other places will be occupying and placing stalls on the streets of the City Proper, signifying that the Festival Season is upon the City of Lucena.
The City Proper of Lucena will be once again transformed to a huge marketplace similar to that of Quiapo and Baclaran, and it is certain that shoppers from Lucena City and nearby towns will be flocking the City to find great bargain items.
The Trade Exhibit offers a wide variety of bargain items - Clothes, footware, toys, kitchenware, plasticware, native products, school supplies - available at very reasonable and affordable prices.
The Exhibit usually runs for a month, for this year 2013 from May 20 to June 20 and the event is also part of the Pasayahan sa Lucena festivities and Activities. So be sure to drop by, visit and enjoy the other events of Pasayahan sa Lucena.
All the festivities and Activities happen in the City Proper of Lucena along Quezon Avenue. Getting there is not a problem.. You can't miss it! VIVA San Fernando! Happy Shopping!
